The best part about this time of year is all of the bunny stuff that comes out due to Easter and Spring being right around the corner. I pretty much love everything bunny! That being said, I couldn't let Easter go by without making some adorable bunny cookies.
One of my biggest problems is narrowing down which shapes I want to make. I wanted to make them all, but that really isn't practical. I decided to make some cookie pops, so I knew I was going to make a large Rabbit and a large Egg. My other thought was to make some smaller cookies, that could possible go together in a bunch. I chose a small bunny, duck and egg. It was hard to refrain from making 5 different bunny shapes and flowers etc., but I figured I could do some spring cookies later on.
The stick cookies are quite large. I would say they are 4 inch cookies.

Egg cookie I made without the stick. |
My husband thinks this chick in an egg shell cookie looks like the batman symbol. If you just look at the yellow chick you can see what he is talking about.

Fat bunny cookies on a stick. |
So, my husband had a comment for these bunny cookies as well. He thinks they are really fat bunnies. I told them that it is just the shape of the cookie cutter, but actually now that I look at the cutter, I think mine just look fat because of the way I iced them. I'm going to have to fix that the next time around.

I turned the egg cookie into a chick! It's a chick on a stick. Sounds like fast food. |
Here are some pics of the little cookies.
Today, when I was packaging up the cookies, I took some closer pictures. You can see a little more detail in the photos below. I made piping icing (stiff icing) to make the tails and bows on the bunny cookies. I also used it to pipe in the names.

These last photos show the different kinds of packaging I put together. I thought I had more of my labels left, but I think I ran out. Good thing I just ordered some more. I also ordered some more of my personalized ribbon, from name maker, that says "Lucky Treats Make Life A Little Sweeter". Check out their website
https://www.namemaker.com/. I love their ribbon!
Hoppy Easter!!
